"Fantastic hidden gem"

A hidden liten gem. Very nice accomodation and thoughtfully arranged. Very comfortable.

It is remote, but train station is in Ulverstone

"Good value stay"

Good value, good breakfast. Free parking, staff friendly, our room appeared to have been recently decorated including new carpet. Bathroom spotlessly clean, bed comfortable. Walkable to Bardsea beach where there is free parking and a little cafe.

"Quiet venue, great value food choices for evening meal."

Food was good value, portion sizes good. Friendly staff, contacted us prior to arrival to amend our table booking (we were slightly later arriving than planned).

Could only have either continental breakfast or cooked breakfast as they were served at different times. Meant group would have split up if one wanted different option. No complimentary toiletries in bathroom.

Great, quiet location. Friendly and efficient staff. Good food in relaxed surroundings.

Lack of thorough cleaning so we found lots of cobwebs/spiders/crane flies near windows, ceilings etc. which was a little off putting. Soundproofing wasn’t great so every noise made by adjacent room was heard i.e. coughing/snoring and when the tv was switched on at 6am
