Brixham House

The house was very clean and tidy and Mark and his wife were lovely. The breakfast was freshly cooked to order and tasted delicious. The room was very nice and the bed was very comfortable. The room had blackout blinds and was at the back of the house was it was very quite and easy to sleep.

There was nothing. Every thing was excellent.

We had a very comfortable 3 nights at Brixham House. Debra and Mark were fantastic hosts, the room was clean and well equipped and the breakfast was superb. We'd definitely recommend!

Lovely room, which was a great size with plenty of light, it did have blackout blinds and curtains to keep out the early morning sun. The rooms were spotlessly clean with everything you needed for a comfortable stay. The hosts were very friendly and helpful and made you feel most welcome, from the minute you arrived to departure, nothing was too much trouble. There was an exceptional choice on the breakfast menu, which was of an excellent standard and cooked to perfection, it really was spectacular. We had a few different choices during our stay and every one was absolutely delicious and amazing quality. We would highly recommend and would definitely stay again if we return to Brixham.

We are struggling to find anything we didn't like, but if we have to be picky, the property is located on quite a busy road, so the rooms at the front could be quite noisy during the day with the windows open, but we spent very little time in the room through the day, so it didn't cause us a problem, and it was a lot quieter during the night. It is about a 10 minute walk from the harbour but is relatively flat, and there was a lovely pub just down the road if you wanted a pitstop on the way, but if you have mobility issues it maybe something to keep in mind. The only other thing which is definitely not a negative, but breakfast was only served until 9am, and although it was 100% worth getting up for, maybe on a weekend it could be served a little later, possibly until 9.30 or 10am but again, this didn't cause us a problem, it is just a consideration.

Fantastic 2-night stay. Debra and Mark made us feel right at home and helped us with any questions we had. Breakfast was delicious and there was so much choice available. Would highly recommend!

1st class breakfast again

Very friendly and comfortable. Clean and fresh. Excellent breakfast. Huge choice of hot food ordered in advance so all fresh and no waiting. Very close to the bus stop for bus 12 which made getting around very easy without a car. Nice soft fluffy white towels, kettle in room, tea bags milk etc available. Very nice shower gel and hand soap provided. Bed comfortable.

I had no issues or complaints.

Merci mille fois à Debra et Marc pour l'accueil et la qualité exceptionnelle du breakfast avec un choix incroyable, la veille vous choisirez le plat principal. Mention spéciale aux Saint-Jacques de Brixham sur boudin noir.et sa sauce Bénédicte. Même si vous avez du mal le matin, faites un effort, ce sera inoubliable.

Ne pas rester plus longtemps ! Next time.

Lovely hosts...so friendly...location great....very clean also...fantastic breakfast, first class.

WiFi signal was very poor. Needs a booster in each room.

the hosts are very nice. and did a lovely breakfast. the house is just a ten minute walk to the town and harbour.

the only slight criticism was our room was at the front of the house .and because it's on the main road in and out of brixham. come 5.30 onwards the noise from the traffic does wake you up.
