Pytts House Boutique Bed & Breakfast

Our host Anna was wonderful. She was very welcoming and warm and so helpful. She assisted us with booking reservations and made so many good suggestions and recommendations for places to go and things to see. All of her help made our trip so much better with her extensive knowledge of the area and all of her connections to the local businesses and people. The accommodations were excellent and even better than we expected. Our room was so comfortable and perfect for our stay. The cottage is beautiful and has so much character with interesting things to look at. The gardens were spectacular and the patio out back was perfect for relaxing in the evening. Our other four hosts, Anna's wonderful dogs added a special and memorable element to our stay. They were fun to get to know and they were always such a warm greeting party when we returned from being out for the day. Our breakfast every morning in the charming dining room was excellent also. Anna makes perfect fried eggs!

Honestly there was nothing that we did not like. We would not have changed a thing.

Breakfast really lovely and served in a beautiful dining room. Good choice of cooked breakfast but for me the lovely plate of fruit served with yogurt and honey was my perfect start. Loved the garden sitting there watching the dogs play and enjoying a cup of tea. Also appreciated the three lovely restaurants we were recommended and where we enjoyed our excellent evening meals. Anna is a very special host who looked after us perfectly.

A beautiful house with a stunning host

Beautiful bed and breakfast a ten minute walk from Burford high street. We loved sitting on the patio and listening to all of the birds. Anna was a wonderful host and made a delicious breakfast. Great location to explore the all of the Cotswolds

The owner was absolutely wonderful, and went out of her way to welcome my daughter and I. The property is beyond charming, and is in walking distance to High Street in Burford with its many shops and restaurants/pubs. Our room was well-appointed with beautiful views and the most comfortable bed we slept in while in England. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, and as if it couldn't get any better, the owner's adorable dogs stole our hearts.

Everything. Absolutely fantastic. The room was exceptional, the breakfast also, the whole experience was out of this world. Anna was a great host, so friendly and helpful, made us feel at home. An amazing addition was her four dogs… we could not resist them, absolutely lovely. The views from the garden and the balcony were to die for even in the middle of March, summer must be breathtaking - we also saw bunnies from the garden whilst watching her dogs having their lives running around! Could not recommend this place more, Alice in Wonderland cottage in the middle of the country side. Can’t wait to stay again! Patty and Nigel :)

Anna contacted me a few days before my arrival and gave me very specific and useful directions on how to find her lovely cottage. She also gave excellent recommendations for dinner and places to visit. She even helped to make recommendations for meals.

Not being able to enjoy her garden because of poor weather

Anna puts so much thought and care into the property and went above and beyond to accommodate us. The property itself is fantastic, well maintained and very cosy. It's a perfect walking distance to Burford. We especially appreciated all the local knowledge and recommendations Anna shared with us.
