The Lake Paradise Boutique Resort

It was situated in an island,we have to reach there by ferry service,but this was not mentioned even in booking.com site.total bluff.fleet of mosquitoes all along.room small, bathroom ordinary,seat cover of WC is very small,smaller than the rim of WC.. Everytime need ferry service to go to land.

Non mentioning of hotel in Island by booking.com and also the property owner Anthony.

The hotel is situated on an island circulated by back water canals. Boat pick up was very convenient: waiting for us just a few meters from the taxi drop off. The location overlooking the backwaters from the balcony was good and very relaxing. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Pool good for cooling swim. There is a path that circulated around the island for a walk. Early morning or evening boat trips can be arranged into the narrows backwaters which was a very pleasant. Overall a enjoyable stay

The location was mostly quiet and the room comfortable. The wifi worked and when the chef got my food request right it was tasty.

The staff were a bit inconsistent and I needed to ask for a lot of basics. They never apologise for anything and make it my fault which I did not appreciate. They kept trying to upsell their services and treated me badly when I didn't agree.

Excellent food for lunch and dinner. Varied breakfast, a mix of continental and Kerala style. The option to take a longer walk directly from the hotel.

Constant engine noise from all the passing boats during the day. The room is nice, but it should be better maintained and the floor cleaned more often.
