Very pleasant experience and good full-on service.

The host was very friendly!!

There is only the room. No couch or cozy corner somewhere to relax. There is a nice terrace, but only 2 metal chairs to sit on. The pool is public, accessible for the whole street. Also pool not open 24/24.

We had a wonderful relaxing stay at Amaranda Bed and Breakfast. The accommodations were very nice but the best part of our visit was the breakfast in the morning. The staff was wonderful because not only was our breakfast very tasty, but also the information they shared about restaurants and the beaches around the area. We would highly recommend this unique place for an overnight visit or an extended stay and we would definitely like to visit them again soon!

Nothing all excellent very clean and good

We were told check in was 12:30 however we were welcome to arrive earlier to leave our bags. When we arrived at the location we got dropped of in front of a locked gate with a keypad, there was no way to come in and we had not received the code for the keypad. So I called the hotel and asked them to come and open so that we could leave our bags, the lady on the other end just said in a angry voice “breakfast is at 10 I cannot” and then HUNG UP on me. At this point I was very annoyed and I called again but nobody answered, I called maybe 6 times and when she finally answered she YELLED at me in the phone and told me check in was at 12:30, I explained the situation to her and said that the hotel had confirmed that we could come earlier and we had confirmed the exact time as well, she kept yelling at me and I yelled at her and then finally she said “the man will come and get you”. So we were waiting for this guy to come get us, 40 min had passed and no man was there, we then called again and she says the same thing again “check in at 12:30” I got super annoyed and told her that I want to speak with the manager and I want my money back because this is unacceptable. Then finally she said “I come out” and she came out to get our bags. We could not speak to anyone else in the hotel to complain about here because she was the only one there. I guess she owned the place and did everything herself.

-Our host was so lovely and helpful! -It was a very quiet area compared to being I'm the city. -Breakfast was a good selection...cereal, fruit, toast, croissants etc & English Breakfast tea! 😁 -Our room was nice & clean, facilities were modern & having a fridge in the room was great, so we could make lunch. -The pool is shared with residents within the complex, not an issue at all, everyone was friendly. -The pool area is quite quiet, which was nice (although we used the pool Mon-Fri, so may vary on weekends?) -The pool is open 10:00-14:00 & 16:00-20:00. This really wasn't an issue, as it gave us time to have lunch & get out of the sun for a bit. -We didn't have a car so relied on public transport. There's a train station about a 15 minute walk away, with good connections to the centre of Catania & Taormina (highly recommend a day trip to Taormina) -There's a big supermarket nearby, about an 8 minute walk. -There's also lots of Pizzerias nearby, which are mostly available on Just Eat Italy, we download the app, so we could translate the menu, before placing an order to collect, we orderd from Pizza & Pizzoli, which was about a 10 minute walk away.

-The bus BRT5, which is the service that runs from the city centre and a 3 minute walk from the B&B isn't the most reliable, I think its supposed to be every 15 minutes, that really wasn't the case for us, we found the train services a lot more reliable. -If you want to eat out for an evening meal within the area, your options can be a little limited, without going into the city centre. But we really enjoyed La Perla Nera, a pirate themed restaurant, a 10 minute walk away.

- Friendly and sympathetic host - Clean room - Nice shower - Nice balcony - Fridge in de room + good coffee in the room - Nice bed - Nice (public) swimming pool - Decent breakfast + nice coffee - Nice supermarket (walking distance)

- The neighborhood and the district is very unsociable and very remote. The accommodation is located in a residential area outside the city. It’s OK when you have a car, but it’s 30 minutes by bus to reach the city center. Bear that in mind. - The bus stop Laino Nord + Laino Sud is 3 minutes by foot from the accommodation, although the bus connection is unreliable. They don't drive on time and sometimes they don't even show up. Keep this in mind and leave on time if you have to travel and be on time. - Notice that you should buy your bus ticket already in the city. You can’t buy your bus ticket in the bus. - There are no nice restaurants in the area around the accommodation. You need to go to the city center for dinner. - The public swimming pool is closed between 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM. - The provision of information could be improved. For example, provide some information for people who come by public transport. It would also have been nice to receive a little more information about the neighborhood itself. With this upgrade, the accommodation would get a 9 :).

Clara was a very generous and friendly host, her recommendations were great. It was comfortable and clean.
