1. Great location. Everything was at walking distance from the location- Market, Lamb’s rock and Dolphin nose.. Stellar view. Well manicured gardens.. Truly a fairy’s abode.. 2. Staff- Polite staff. Got a call from Uzma, owner of the property right at airport. Made a WhatsApp group of owner, manager and staff to help with trip. Nivas, the manager had been there for us throughout starting from receiving us in rain while holding umbrella himself to bidding adieu..Quite moving. Arranged Mangostein fruits from their own gardens for us (local and quite expensive fruit)..Arranged early breakfast every day for our daily treks.. Arranging great food, reliable taxi for our excursions. Overall wonderful stay with personal touch. Made our experience memorable..

Nothing actually.. There was nothing not to like..

Fairy Glen is a well maintained Heritage property. The cottage has two rooms with attached bathrooms. The sitting and dining area is common for both rooms. There is a huge, well manicured lawn and flower beds. There are four Benches and a swing in the lawn. The property is safe and secure. There are many security cameras in the compound. The property is located atop a hill, overlooking tea gardens and the mountains beyond.

There is nothing that we can find fault with. It’s perfect! Difficult to believe??? … then, see for yourself! 😊

A little away from the centre of Coonoor lies this little gem called Fairy Glen. Recommended by a friend we were glad to get a booking during the busy Easter weekend. Right from the start the owner Uzma was extremely welcoming and helpful. Emails with all details regarding the place, the staff who would help came in its due course of time. The property is a small and neat 2 bedroom place with a living room a dining space and a kitchen good enough to make your coffee and heat your food. The breakfast is part of the package and lunch and dinner and everything else is on actuals. Regina and her mom cook up some absolutely delectable stuff whether its the Idlis, Vadas for breakfast , the Mutton Biryani or the kebabs. Food is outstanding. The place is neat and clean and has a gorgeous terrace where we spent most of our time. Regina would serve tea and breakfast at the terrace and we just loved the experience. Fatima, the cleaning lady was most adjusting ....honestly this was really home away from home where everyone just seemed to have one goal - to pamper us. During our stay Uzma checked on us everyday and tried to help with suggestions and ideas. The location , food, hospitality of the place are all 10/10 ...impeccable and outstanding ....but more than anything else it was the people who made the stay memorable ... Regina , Fatima and most of all Nivas who kept a check on everything ... Right from the time that we were to arrive Nivas called us and was constantly at our beck and call. Thank you Uzma for a memorable stay ....will definitely come back to stay whenever we can.

The home stay is like a little annexe to the main house , a little patch of green in from of the homestay would have been nice.

Fairy Glen property is situated in one of the most scenic places in Coonoor. It's a beautiful property nestled amidst nature coupled with luxury and hospitality making this one of the most recommended holiday stay if you are traveling to coonoor. The service staff were extremely courteous and service oriented. They honoured each of our request with a smile. We also had home made mutton biryani and vegetable biryani which was sumptuous. Finger licking, actually! There's a swing, garden, tea estate and lots of games to keep yourselves occupied and have fun with your family. Highly recommended!
