Trevelyan Hotel

This place is great. There are some complaints in the reviews about things such as the stairs. If you are in good condition, this shouldn’t be a problem though. If you aren’t, maybe reconsider as there is no elevator. This place is not the fanciest, but it blends perfectly in with the Manx experience in my opinion. Sure, the decoration is a bit dated, but that makes perfect sense after a day travelling by steam train. For that matter, the WIFI signal wasn’t always that strong in my room (but it was fine in the lobby), but it would have been even better if there had been no WIFI. As I said, not the most fancy place I ever stayed, but considering the money it’s a great option if you are on a budget.

The hotel is situated in a great location on the main waterfront, though it's about a 30-minute walk to the ferry station. I was truly satisfied with the hotel and have no particular complaints. The beds were comfortable, I had a lovely sea view, and everything in the bathroom worked perfectly. The breakfast, which was included in the price, was really excellent. Would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a pleasant stay with beautiful views and quality service.

Basic, clean, cheap and cheerful. Nice breakfast and priced accordingly. Have stayed here a few times before and definitely would again!
