Ros Dún House

Het huis had 4 of 5 kamers beschikbaar voor de B&B. Voor de sleutel kregen we een mail met daarin de methode hoe we naar binnen konden komen. Dus geen persoonlijk contact. Het huis was groot en op een waanzinnig goede locatie. Maar 5 minuten lopen van het centrum af.

Op zich vind ik het wel jammer dat er bij binnenkomst geen persoonlijk contact is. Pas de volgende ochtend krijg je de eigenaresse te zien die alleen een eitje verzorgt en voor thee en koffie zorgt. Geen warme bacon of ander Iers ontbijt. Verder was alles prima in orde, wij zouden deze B&B zeker aanraden ivm de locatie.

We had a comfortable and quiet 2 night stay at Ros Dun. It is a 2 minute walk to Donegal center which was very convenient for exploring the town, visiting Donegal Castle, Hanna Hats, getting dinner and catching live music. Bonus, there is reserved parking for guests across the street from the house. Geraldine and Michael were wonderful hosts.

The instructions for self check in were very clear. Room was well appointed and very clean. Freedom to make tea/coffee downstairs and avail of biscuits was a nice touch. Continental breakfast was substantial and delicious.
