Awesome location, view is stunning - and it's close enough to Kenmare to be convenient, yet far enough away to be quiet and serene. Barry & Jens were super welcoming and helpful and improved every aspect of my trip with both their hospitality and their knowledge of the area - and there is so much to see within day trip range. Loved it!

Best breakfast I have ever had at a b and b. Attention to detail and seating (view overlooking the bay) were far beyond the price point. Barry and Jen’s passion for their business shone throughout. They were attentive, knowledgeable (regarding areas to visit) and friendly. Spotlessly clean and well presented.

We've been staying at lots of B&B's before, but our stay at Valhalla left us speechless. Barry and Jens are outstanding hosts. The room was very comfy and in a superb condition. The room was fitted with passion like the whole house. The breakfast was served with love for detail and was very very tasty. And the Cookies...you must try ! If you don't want them at breakfast you'll get them for take away. Yes and not to be forgotten : The Scenery ! Valhalla lies embedded in a beautiful scenery with view at the Beara Peninsula. You will be good advised to get tips for your exploration of The Ring of Kerry from Barry and Jens. We visited places you won't find in Ireland Guides ! Outstanding . Thanks for Your Hospitality ! Unfortunately we only stayed for 3 nights...guess we have to come back.

B&Y were very friendly and caring and professional in hospitality. We felt very welcome even before we arrived. The house is stunning and very comfortable. They both did more than enough to make sure our stay was comfortable.

Barry and Jens are the perfect hosts, they have an eye for every little detail. The breakfast was amazing, with fresh berries from the garden and a delicious cake of the day. They gave us very good recommendations about what to do in the area, things we wouldn’t be able to find on our own. This really made our trip! The room was cosy and very tidy. The view from the house is beautiful as well, it captures the Kerry county nature vibe. We were sad to leave this place and our amazing hosts!

This was a real find. We booked only 2 days in advance and our choices were limited. We wanted to be out of town. But also the price was half that of intown hotels. We'll stay there again next time, and longer.
