"Exceptional"

Absolutely brilliant service. The owner texted me for our estimated time of arrival to prepare the room so it was ready for when we arrived. Quick booking in and given two keys so we could come and go as we pleased. Gave directions for the disabled long stay disabled parking. A welcome booklet with emergency contact details, history of the area and a map of things to do and see so we could plan our trip especially day two was on the bed (we put ours in the dressing table drawer when we left. All the facilities were clean and tidy, they take pride in their property which has an amazing and long history and the owner explained the old borders of England and Wales as it's on Welsh Street. Our twin room had a massive smart TV with netflix, YouTube etc so you can have your own sign in (just remember to log out though) choice of tea, coffee and coffee pod machine and a kettle. Clean fluffy towels in the room. Our shared bathroom was immaculate so no smell of damp/mould. The shower was amazing after being soaked in Tintern!!! Comfy beds with cute little blankets on them and good quality clean sheets. It had the feel of being home from home. If I am back in the area again this would be my first choice for bed and breakfast. I love the fact the owners keep the prices low and affordable which made the whole experience scream luxury (I have been in some Premier Inns that have been disgusting to the point of having a refund). The Coach and Horses was a great luxury for a quick one night trip for us.

There was nothing to hate here!!

The host Dave was very welcoming and served a great breakfast

Unfortunately the room looked past it sale by date and could have been cleaner generally needs a refresh
