The property was well located between Chepstow and Tintern in a quiet setting with off road parking. It was very clean and with an exceptional and well liked and helpful hostess. Breakfasts were outstanding and excellent value for the extra £10.

As octogenarians we found the number of stairs a little challenging. With one side of the double bed next to the wall, getting out for visits to the bathroom in the small hours was problematic without disturbing partners. Removing the extra single bed would help.

Lovely large clean room , Tea / coffee making facilities in the room . Probably the best value for money breakfast I’ve ever had. Lovely warm welcome, from Elizebeth & Rodney and very accommodating with breakfast and arrival times ( my Ferry disembarking was extremely slow so I arrived at Parkfield quite late) , I rang Parkfield on route to let them know but Elizebeth told me it was not a problem and not to worry about it

"Very comfortable and enjoyable stay with pleasant friendly hosts"

The property was very handy for walks in the area and the town of Chepstow. Our hosts Elizabeth and Rodney were extremely helpful with their local knowledge of the area. Unfortunately we never got to sample the breakfast but have no doubt it would have been exceptional

The property was on a slight bend, so leaving in a car required a careful entrance onto the road.

Breakfast was great. Host was very friendly and helpful. Room was spacious. Had a bath, as well as shower available.
