Very helpful check in. Comfy room, easy to get to the tram to get into the centre. Good position for getting ferry to mainland.

The Internet did not work.

The host’s sister met me and was very helpful before I arrived and met me at 20:30 to give me the keys and show me the room. The room was nicely decorated and had good air conditioning which was needed due to the heat. Wi-Fi was good speed.

The location wasn’t great, didn’t always feel safe walking there from the centre at night. Quite smelly in some parts. The front door of the building was very difficult to open with 2 keys provided but only one works and even it was always tricky so it made me nearly have to ring the host to get in. There was a fridge and a tv in the room, neither of them worked. There was no window in the room that could be opened as the shutter was locked. The separate bathroom was beside another room where people could smoke so it was very smoky in the hall. To save on detergent, I did not ask them to change bed linens or towels but they did not clean the bathroom at all and I had to buy my own toilet paper as they did not replenish this. Also the shower doors when open provide less than 20cm entry so a big person like me really had a tough squeeze to fit in to it. Never experienced that anywhere before. Breakfast is not provided in the b&b, you have to go to a cafe and provide a ticket which I did not like so I did not use them
