Good Morning Etna

Situated on a quiet and secure neighbourhood on the outskirts of Bronte, the whole house is split into two levels, each having a room with a dedicated bathroom. Downstairs, there is a mini bar and lounge area, which is really cool. The whole decor is modern and outstanding! Despite it being fairly elevated and being cold outside, you could tell that the owners didn't spare a cent on thermal insulation. The rooms were very comfortable. To top it all off, the picturesque views of Etna made it all worthwhile. Lastly, Vincenzo is an excellent host and made us feel very welcome. He was kind, courteous and caring. Definitely one to consider, and I highly recommend this residence!

The view and the morning sun was great. Also that the room had a heater to have warm temperature und dry clothes (a lot of other rooms in sicily are very cold in this season). The unlimited hot shower was also great in this season. (other rooms in sicily had just 30 seconds hot water). Breakfast was great in a hotel nearby. The host where very helpful, flexible und extremly friendly.

Close to Catania city, Etna vulcano and Parco dei Nebrodi. Kindly owner.

Heating system works after 9 pm. Everything is hear from next rooms. Everybody hear everybody. Public room is very loud if people’s speaking there or enjoy with music there, if you sleep next to room. You have no peace of mind to rest or if you want do any work. Bed squeak if laying on it. Breakfast is in Caffetteria Luca. 400 meters from accommodation. Breakfast was just coffee or tea and 1 croissant.

Vincenzo was very helpful and available anytime we needed him. The view of the B&B was lovely, as shown in the photos and the room was exactly what we expected and needed. I'd go back if I needed to stay in Bronte again.

The only con: the walls are pretty thin so you can hear your neighbors in their rooms.

Hosts were always ready to help in the best way possible to our questions/requests. the location is quiet and gate is kept closed at all times, which was a must for us since we were travelling with our motorcyle. Room and whereabouts kept clean. Lillo the cat was of great company with his purrs and gentleness. Breakfast at Caffeteria Luca was just 5mins walk away from B&B.

During other stays in Sicily usually breakfast was more than a coffee + cornetto. My suggestion is to at least offer breakfast where you can have a simple ham & cheese/egg toast as another option. Suggestion apart, coffee/fresh orange juice & cornetto were always fresh and delicious at Caffeteria Luca.

Vincenzo is a very kind and helpful host, we always reached him when needed. The appartment has direct view to the Etna. The room was clean and the enviroment is nice and quiet. The breakfast was amazing too!
