Arte Nova Guesthouse

We stayed for two weeks with our dog. We felt comfortable the whole time. The hotel was quiet. We loved the gorgeous view from the balcony. The staff was friendly.

Toilet set up in the bedroom, not very private, strange tall window looking in from the bed area. lack of places to hang up towels, nothing to put soap after use. No light in the shower or outside the shower. Noisy floor from above,you can hear every footstep. In our case someone must have had a problem, they were walking backwards and forwards all night. Road noise even with the windows closed.

When we arrived,we were upgraded to the água boutique hotel next door.

Highlights: very clean, beautiful design, comfortable rooms. In the heart of center, where you can find free Street parking easily.

Lowlights: not experienced, a bit rude staff. During check-in didn't inform that stay with pet has extra charge and only when checking out told that we will be charged for 15€ extra.

Everything was really great, we had a great time and a very welcome reception and stay. The room was beautiful, clean and conformtable. Breakfast is full of home made details and delicious. I have to say that the person that did our check in and received us was really amazing, she was proactive in finding us a table for dinner and extremely nice in every interaction we had. The only remark i can make is the bathroom as I bumped my head a couple of times on the ceiling. I totally recommend this place, the rooms are spacious and the location is really great.
