The wonderful hosts picked us up from the airport and took us to their beautiful villa with a warm welcome, and in the morning they cooked us an amazing Sri Lankan breakfast spread that far exceeded what we are expecting.

"Disgusting"

Absolutely nothing.

This was, without question, one of the worst places I have ever stayed. The showers were filthy—mouldy, clogged, and clearly neglected. Breakfast was even worse: we found worms in the food. When we confronted the owner, instead of apologising, he exploded and started shouting at us. As if that wasn’t enough, he arranged a driver for part of our trip who was an absolute nightmare—aggressive, pushy, and only interested in taking us to places where he’d get a commission. We fired him on the second day. Avoid this place at all costs.

"Exceptional"

Hiran and Nilanthi were amazingly wonderful, accommodating hosts. They organised last minute pick up from the airport, were prompt in answering any questions, helpful to plan a visit in the local area (with a tuk tuk) and also assisted in developing an itinerary based on my wish list for my full Sri Lanka trip with a driver! The room was large, quiet, comfortable, tastefully decorated, and very clean. The hosts were flexible, and even checked-in on me once I had departed their villa asking if they could help in anyway and inquired if I was safe and having a good time as a first time solo traveller in their country. Beautiful people, I have no hesitation in recommending Villa A50 as the number 1 place to stay. 🥰 Well worth the money and more.

"Super voor één nacht"

Eén nacht geslapen. Heerlijke bedden, hele nette badkamer. Keurig allemaal! Service top richting het vliegveld, zelfs midden in de nacht. Ligt een kwartier met de tuktuk van Negombo en ook een kwartiertje van het vliegveld.

"Very nice accommodation to stay!"

Very friendly welcome from mister and misses of the house. We just arrived in SriLanka so they gave us some tips about transport possibilities in SriLanka and offered us the most delicious SriLanka breakfast. Room was very clean.

"Perfect stopover stay"

The owner was so kind to pick us up from the airport despite our flight being delayed and arriving quite late. The rooms were very comfortable and perfect for a quick stay close to the airport. I will definitely be recommending to anyone that wishes to stay in Negombo.

Hiran and his wife are so lovely. The bed is very comfortable and was lovely to have air conditioning at night.
