SwordFish Eco-House Peniche

Gros problème concernant la literie, les sommiers sur 2 chambres sont de mauvaise qualité lattes cassées couinement très important dès que l'on bouge, cela réveille la personne dans le lit d'a coté.

Literie

Espacio muy organizado, muy limpio cómodo. Casa grande acogedora. Peniche muy bonito agradable lugar.

Una de las habitaciones sin calefacción. Del resto todo genial.

A cozinha era pequena para um grupo de 12 pessoas.

It's a family house with 4 bedrooms, 3 of which are on the first floor and one on the ground floor (no window), two shower rooms, big terrace on the first floor (no view, but cosy, with garden seating furniture). I found amusing discovering the house's interior and its numerous rooms and spaces. There are a lot of things to discover for children as well: games, wise phrases and jokes written everywhere, the green concept of the household. The owner provided 2 coffee capsules for our 1 night stay, which is very kind. Very clean. Hand soap and kitchen cleaning staff available. Excellent location for the morning boat trip to Berlengas islands: few minutes walk from the departure peers. And if your morning boat trip gets cancelled for some reason, it's only 20 minutes by car to Obidos - beautiful small old town, must see destination. Excellent communication with the host, they react promptly and provide all necessary information on first demand. We were lucky to find street parking place few houses away on the same street.

This is an old house, so furniture is a bit shabby, especially kitchen drawers, but still functional, so not important at all, especially for big families. No scissors. Gas cooker, no automatic spark, we were not accustomed to it. In one bedroom there are no electric sockets in the wall adjacent to bed head to use nightstand lamps, which are present for decor.

We like the fact that this was a large home and very welcoming, old decorated “but” super traditional was nothing super fancy I liked that ideia of going somewhere particle and typical of the local area, the location was fantastic. The owner was super welcoming and always in contact. We had a little issue where the boiler batteries had died, straight away they sorted it out for us “keeping in mind it was super late at night”. There was lots of towels available, 2 outside spaces with table chairs and sofas. Kitchen had everything for us to use. We like to do our own meals this was super helpful. The Beds was very comfortable too. This place it’s amazing for a large family, when we go back to Peniche this will definitely be where we will stay.

I will msg privately the owner. But am not shore the owner may be aware of the cleaning issues specially on the kitchen that was our only dislike. Drawers, pans toaster and fridge need some attention.
