The lady of the house Paola was super friendly and helpful, We had everything needed and more. Comfortable bed, nice clean bathroom and super tasty coffee.

Everything was wonderful, the accommodation is really nice and clean, the location is great there are good restaurants, shops and supermarkets nearby, it is a short walk from the train station and close to Napoli and Pompei. Paola, the owner is very attentive and helpful, she provided us with good advices. Grazie mille per tutto!! 😃

Excellent location close to the railway station, large modern clean room, remarkable bed linen and comfortable pillows.

Not related to the apartments, just a note about the city: the restaurants are closed at lunch time. Therefore, you need to plan your lunch carefully.

Ideally placed geographically, we chose this B&B for its location and facilities: 1. 20 minute walking distance to Herculaneum Archeological site 2. 10min walk from the accommodation to Portici-Erculano station + 20 minute train ride to Pompeii Archeological site. 3. 20 minute walking distance to the Mount Vesuvius bus meeting/ticket point 4. Abundance of restaurants/takeaways/supermarkets in the locality - several tasty gelaterias The owner is very friendly and loaned us a very useful umbrella for the sun/rain - I don’t know why we didn’t bring one. Provided a lovely bottle of wine. Provided local knowledge you cannot put a price on: 1. Recommended several restaurants and booked one for us. 2. Offered to book a taxi for us, but we wanted to try the train/bus. 3. Advised the way to local places such as Herculaneum Excellent facilities: air conditioning, strong WiFi, good shower, espresso coffee machine available + tea available in the room, fridge to keep the milk/water cool, drinkable water, a large TV (although we didn’t use it). Comfortable bed. It has everything you would need. A home from home and we were lucky to find availability. If you schedule less than 3 days to see Mount Vesuvius, Pompeii and Herculaneum you will only get a taste of the UNESCO world heritage sites here and miss out on the full experience. Highly recommended.

The weather can be unpredictable, so you have to have plan for this - should have brought an umbrella, and a small bag for the archeological sites.
