Bent Mountain Lodge

For me, this stay was close to perfect. I love that the lodge is in an idyllic setting, it’s stylish, comfortable, friendly, relaxed and fun. Quite a difficult combination to achieve.

I didn’t have any negatives.

Building in need of a little TLC

The location is beautiful, very comfortable and clean room, very nice lodge, breakfast was basic with various breads, cereals, and fruit available.

Beautiful location and views. The hosts were wonderful providing us with a tour of the property and recommendations for dinner. Our room was very comfortable and the continental breakfast had lots of options. We would love to return again!

No negatives from our point of view.

Breakfast was great. It was buffet style and had all major breakfast essentials. We were the only ones there and had the entire kitchen/dining area to help ourselves. We enjoyed looking out the huge windows to the many mountain views.

Last 1/2 mile or so was a gravel drive. The room had a musty smell. The pillows smelled like a sweaty head. May need to exterminate as there was a lot of bugs.

The views are absolutely stunning! Ginger and her husband were wonderful and attentive hosts! Everything was clean and it was very comfortable. They are continuing to work on updates througought the property (mostly modernization), but it is great as-is. There are horses and plenty of wildlife around to watch if you hang out on one of the many porches and decks. The internet worked great and each room has a smart TV with apps.

The shower did not have a deep enough lip so the bathroom floor got quite wet each shower. Honestly a minor thing they will likely change as they keep updating. We just put down a large towel in addition to the bath mat.
