Good location, right on main strip. Lovely breakfast and friendly owner

The location was in a pedestrian only road in the heart of Salerno within walking distance of the main train station. Lots of shops and cafes all around with a convenient supermarket just next door.

The owner conveniently forgot to advise that the building is covered in scaffolding and that workers start work at 6 am using jack hammers. The scaffolding extended past the room balcony with workmen walking past all of the time so not only can’t you use the balcony but you have to keep the blinds closed so as to have some privacy. The description of this facility is that it is a bed and breakfast…..indeed one of the pictures included by the owner promoting the establishment shows coffee, croissants, jam, juice and fruit. The reality is that breakfast is actually a voucher for one coffee and one croissant at the bar across the street. You can’t even choose any other cake or a hot chocolate as the bar proprietor rudely tells you NO….only croissant and coffee! So this is really not really a true B&B….it’s actually just a bed and room with a croissant and coffee thrown in. The TV provided is smaller than a typical computer monitor screen and is a dumb TV. Only Italian local programs are available great if you understand Italian too bad if you don’t! The shared facilities area has a coffee making machine which is great but no milk provided…..great if you only drink black coffee. The room acoustics are terrible……we could clearly hear conversations in the next door room and frequently awoke to the sound of someone next door using the toilet and flushing.

The property is in absolutely perfect location - 5 minutes to the sea, 10 minutes to the Concordia port, lots of bars and restaurants nearby. Room was clean, AC and elevator worked perfectly. Comfortable bed and pillows, great noise and light cancelation at night.

During my stay construction work was done on the building. While its quiet on the weekends, on the workdays 7:53 was a good morning with a wall drill. I stayed in room 4, and the constructions was going on the same side. It was blocking the view from the balcony and people were walking behind the windows in the morning. Want to take a nap after lunch? Possible if you're used to huge hammer thumping on the walls. While windows had a great noise cancellation during the night from the bars, it didin't help with the drilling. Property advertises that cleaning services are available for the additional price - they're not. The owner could only recommend a public laudry place. Ended up not using it.

Excellent location, quiet and safe building

We took cold showers most the time. Bed's frame very low, uncomfortable to sit and worse to get up. Fridge extremely small, it fit in only two 16 onde bottles of water. Not ivi a small little table and only one chair.

Great location. Clean. Nice balcony.

Location was very central, the room was big, nice and clean, the blinds blocked out all the light. The host was lovely and very helpful.
