DOMUS ALERIA Deluxe Rooms

The property is gorgeous. The rooms are gorgeous. The owners are so helpful. Please remember you are in a small, ancient, Italian town so some things may not seem easy but the guys help with everything. Enjoy their place, enjoy Sciacca. Everything here was top notch. The bed was so comfortable too.

Everything was great!

Honestly, this place spoiled us for anything else. The attention to detail, fabulous decor, just an amazing renovation all in all. Loved the high ceilings and original floors. Big beds, super comfortable accommodations, and everything we needed. Simone and Ignazio were so kind and helpful, we loved them too. Great value for money, plus good location in Sciacca. We would highly recommend Domus Aleria for an extended stay while exploring nearby, as well as trying out the excellent restaurants in Sciacca.

We were on the third floor and there is no lift but Simone helped with our bags on the way in and the way out. It was not a problem for us but other travellers should be aware.

We stayed for one night on our journey around Sicily as a convenient stop off after an afternoon at Agrigento. Simone and Ignazio are very attentive hosts, very helpful in helping manage the arrival ( parking in front of the property is tricky), take our heavy luggage up the long staircase of this beautiful historic building and providing lots of advice on restaurants etc. Our room was large and well appointed. The bathroom facilities had been ( very cleverly) built into the bedroom which didn't bother us but the lack of privacy may be an issue for some. Our room fronted a busy street below which made it a bit noisy in the morning but we needed to move fairly early so no problem for us. Sciacca is a small town and easily covered from the property. Breakfast is not offered on the premises. Instead guests are given a token for coffee and pastries at a close by cafe which is perfectly adequate and authentic. Whilst we were at breakfast our luggage was brought down to the entrance hall and Simone was on hand to see us off. A really friendly stop over.

Perfectly central location, beautiful room. Most importantly our hosts were EXTREMELY helpful in ALL aspects of our stay. I wouldn’t consider going anywhere else

Our hosts were extremely considerate, from before we arrived in a very heavy rain storm. Our really stylish and comfortable room. Sciacca proved to be a really interesting and charming old town - full of surprises.

Great attention from our hosts to ensure parking, places and restaurants to visit. Beautiful room, very comfy bed, great linen. Loved going to the cafe by the church for breakfast.

Nothing!

We were sent to a little cafe down the street and it was fine. We were in a sweet (but noisy) neighvorhood in walking distance of many restaurants and plazas.

The coffee maker did not work well in room, so we had to wait for the coffee. Parking was a nightmare and there was no real clairy given about how and where to park. Regardless, you do have to park about 1/2 a mile away and schlep your luggade up 3 long flights of stairs.

Beautifully designed room in great location with wonderful hosts. Free car parking available close by. Hosts gave great tips about what to do in the area. Lovely local breakfast provided near by

The staff was extremely helpful and kind. The standard of the rooms was more than you expect. The room was very clean, beautiful and high quality. Be aware you have to walk for 5 min to get breakfast.

The intricate details to service and comfort! They really make you feel like a friend and even family!

That they didn’t have more love to give ;) nothing - everything was perfect!!!
