My wife and I have been travelling all over Europe using B&Bs for more than 25 years. In the course of that time we've stayed in some very nice places. The simplest thing I can say about the Paladino & its staff is that it ties first with another B&B (in Kent, England) as the best B&B we've ever been to. There's nothing wrong with it.

Very nice property, extremely friendly staff.

The only problem we had was the smelly pipework in the bathroom. We kept the bathroom window open and the door closed, then it was fine.

Staff were lovely, and for our purpose - the location was good. Breakfast was very good. Bedroom was a good size. Decor was interesting.

The B&B is above a restaurant - and therefore the entire place had a permeating 'cabbag-ey' scent! This is fine downstairs, but it was a little disconcerting actually in the bedroom. The bathroom - although a good size had a bath with a shower curtain on one side -and a window on the other! Although the window had a blind - it was a little odd to have a shower directly next to a window - which obviously couldn't be opened until after you'd finished! The room was stiflingly hot - and the air conditioning unit provided was incredibly noisy.

It was amazingly clean. An authentic accommodation and a restaurant downstairs. Beautiful city and great view.

If you are not into sweets for breakfast, it wont fit. There is an option to order for 15€ eggs, cheese and bacon. However this portion is enough for 2 persons.
