Ocean Boho House

The meal options were amazing, tasty, healthy and very fulfilling. The location was a home away from home. Quiet, calm and serene space to get away from the busy city life. Whether you spent your time at the pool or just lazing around on your balcony, it felt like the Eat, Pray, Love holiday you deserved. The waiters and maintenance staff were friendly and very helpful.

We could have been informed about the loadshedding schedule in advance, to assist us in planning the day. The shower water was always set on cold and each room should come standard with drinkable water, an iron and kettle with coffee/tea options.

A very cozy little hotel with a wonderful team. The staff are always friendly and willing to help. Good breakfast.

Lovely place well maintained and very clean and neat, the breakfast is the highlight , its a full spread and enjoyed it, the people are all so warm

This property has such a good vibe. The food, the workers and the owner are all excellent. I feel like you have to stay here in order to feel the experience.

There was nothing bad I could say about this place.

Sehr authentisch und einfach, aber praktisch eingerichtet. Zimmer direkt am pool. Sehr nettes Personal und das Essen auf der Speisekarte war ausgezeichnet!!!!

Un personnel vraiment aux petits soins, un bon restaurant et un très bon petit déjeuner (sauf le café !). Il s'agit d'un petit hôtel qui a vraiment du charme, avec une grande terrasse pour chaque chambre. Il est situé dans le village de Jambiani, en face d'un stade de foot et d'une école, ce qui permet de se plonger dans la vie du village et de ses habitants. Pour autant il est très calme. La plage est à 5 minutes.

L'hôtel n'est pas équipé de groupe électrogène. C'est sans doute sympa pour la planète... mais pas vraiment pour les clients. A Zanzibar les coupures d'électricité sont régulières, l'une d'elles a duré presque 24 h, et pendant ce temps pas de lumière, pas de clim, ni d'eau au robinet - sans parler de la douche ! Quand on est arrivé, la clim de notre chambre ne fonctionnait pas. Ce n'est qu'après 2 nuits (pendant lesquelles nous n'avons pas dormi) qu'on a pu finalement changer de chambre et avoir la clim. La literie est un peu ancienne, tâchée, et gagnerait à être renouvelée. Il n'y a pas de sèche cheveux dans la salle de bains. L'escalier pour accéder à notre chambre était mal éclairé et dangereux, avec des marches inégales. Ma cheville s'en souvient...
