Beautiful location, great for surfing, fishing, cycling, walking, running or just chilling. Hosts wonderful and went beyond the call of duty to make our stay memorable. Awesome surfing tution too.

You can tell a lot of thought was put into the decoration of the whole place. Really made you feel like you’re in Hawaii. Loved that the room looks out onto the ocean, and the outdoors seating area was very nice. Dane and Madoka were both very accommodating and nice.

Not much to do around the area walking distance except for the beach.

Great place to stay! Right on the beach, comfortable and clean. The owners are so kind and have so many tips for what to do in the local area. Whether you need to escape Japan itinerary, we definitely recommend Splash Guest House

We highly recommend Splash Guest House! We felt so welcome that we wouldn't have mind to spend the rest of our vacation there! Transport was a breeze as Dane picked us up on arrival and dropped us off at Katsuura Station for departing to Tokyo. He also recommended some nice local spots and activities, such as biking on the coast line and seeing all of the different beaches. The room was spacious, clean, air-conditioned, had nice amenities. And to top it off, had an amazing view of the ocean. We especially enjoyed our time at the terrace viewing the ocean and listening to the relaxing sounds. All round amazing vibes, would definitely visit again!
