DuxHouse BnB

The DuxHouse BnB has an amazing ambiance and being there is a perfect opportunity to feel New Zeland's rustic vibes - you can see sheep and chickens out of your balcony! We enjoyed the breakfast prepared by the host and cozy terrace for an evening glass of wine. The room is spacious and well equipped, we highly recommend this place!

Private unit with own entrance and a private terrace. Very comfortable, clean and with a little kitchenette (fridge, microwave, tea and coffee making facilities etc). Very friendly and helpful owner. Excellent value for money!

Bien situé pour une étape entre Wellington et Taupo dans une localité rurale et typique. C'est un vrai B&B avec un petit déjeuner que Jolanda vous apporte dans la chambre. Accueil très sympathique, au calme malgré la proximité de la route.

We absolutely loved our stay here. From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. Jolanda is an exceptional host and truly went above and beyond for us. After a long journey from the South Island, it was such a comfort to arrive to a warm, cosy room with the key ready for check-in. Jolanda was incredibly thoughtful and welcoming, asking us in advance what we would like for breakfast and what time suited us, and then providing the most delicious and generous breakfast. The accommodation itself was spotless, comfortable, and very well maintained, with a lovely, homely atmosphere that made us feel instantly relaxed.

Nothing at all – everything was perfect.

Perfect stopover, refresh and unwind after the Tongariro crossing. Place exceeded everything we imagined. Perfect private space, comfy bed, good showers. The place is gorgeously set out with character and personality. Cute mindfulness books, and set out with the theme to relax and reset. Breakfast in bed was a massive perk and also adjusted to suit my dietary needs- I love, wish we stayed longer!

Breakfast was great and location was handy to the town centre. Excelleent hosts this exceeded many motels which we have stayed at. Very friendly host and only too happy to please. Great shower.
