Mahil-Laya

This was such a beautiful Airbnb and Hilde was a lovely host. We stayed for a weekend to attend a wedding at Villa Kalkoven which was close by. We also hired bikes off Hilde and rode to the neighbouring towns. The beds can also be pushed together with a foam inlay to make it a generous queen sized bed. We will be recommending Mahil-Laya to family and friends and intend to visit again in the future! There was an incredible selection of teas and a beautiful garden that Hilde encouraged us to use and enjoy our morning tea/coffee in. A few notes for anyone who might not be the right fit for this stay: If you're elderly or unsure on your feet, the staircase is steep which is common in the Netherlands. For young or able bodied it's fun and quaint with a hand rail to help on the way down. There is also no hot plate so it isn't a kitchenette, just a convection microwave which is perfect for a night or two. There is also no TV, so bring your own device to use with the Wifi or enjoy being TV-free and relax, another reason to spend more time outside exploring.

Hilda is a very welcoming host, she made sure we have everything we needed before our arrival. Lovely, clean and cozy rural guest house with its own driveway and wonderful gardens. We will definitely come back! Thank you! Mark & Olga

The host went out of her way to accommodate us. She picked us up from the station. We were able to hire bikes to get around the area. Very beautiful and fully equipped property in a quiet area. The beds were very comfortable and the place is extremely clean!

The bedroom on the second floor was very hot, but there was a fan. There is nothing to complain about

The accommodation is just lovely. Very clean, nicely decorated, with everything that you need to make you feel comfortable, as being home. The breakfast was also very tasty and nicely prepared. If you want to have a relaxing holiday, then this is definitely the place to be.
