Casa Tharin Madiha

Beautiful room, very comfortable bed, loved the balcony up in the trees, 50 meters from Madiha beach, lovely hosts. Would definitely return.

Our stay at casa Tharin was a mixed experience. First the positive- the rooms were spacious, clean and very comfortable also the balcony was nice. The local staff was friendly and cleaning of the room worked well.

What was rather unusual was the way of Emanuela hosting her guests. We had a problem with the battery of the car which was standing in front of the guesthouse just for check in. We of course wanted to move the car right after check in but we did not know the batterie would not work and we would not be able to move it because of this ;) so we told emanuela the host about this problem and she did not even think about helping us - so this means not once asking if we need help while we were outside of her gate. In fact she was in her cafe while we were trying to get a mechanic or find ANY solution 😅 - her most important priority was that we pay right away.. and park our car somewhere else. You can guess who ended up helping us - of course the local neighbours as usual in Sri Lanka. After 6:30/7 pm nobody was there or found in the cafe. We got the Information we needed from another guest. She ended up responding that the cafe opens the next day per whats app but over text eventhough i called her 2 times. If you want to stay there and have quick access to Center its totally fine but dont expect much guest orientated service.

We had a wonderful stay at this villa! It’s an incredibly well-maintained place, and the location is perfect—just a short walk to the sea. The room we stayed in was not only very comfortable but also spotless, which made my stay even more pleasant. All the staff is so kind and friendly. A big thank you to Emanuela and Tharin, who welcomed us with warm smiles and made sure we felt right at home throughout our stay. We highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable retreat by the sea!

Casa Tharin is a lovely place, the bed we slept in was giant and the room so peaceful. Breakfast was delicious. Beautiful view from the terrace where you can do yoga, chilloout or meditation in the morning with Emanuela Who is an amazing host. Super rare to find this vibes in a place. Super super recommended.

Feel home in this place. Nice and simple, so rare ! Very Nice people. Helthy food. Wonderfull café...Paradise. Best place we found in SL.
