Maddalena e Giacomo sono dei padroni di casa squisiti e super accoglienti. La struttura è molto bella e curata. I dolci di Maddalena sono eccellenti.

The property is in a quiet area but it is close to Manduria and all the prettiest beaches are just 10 minutes drive away from the house. We stayed there for six days and drove around Puglia since we had excellent location for sightseeing. The house is very beautiful and clean,we had everything we needed and asked for, and Maddalena (the owner of the house) is one of the kindest people you could meet. She takes care of the house and the guests perfectly and during our whole stay we had homemade bread and pastries for breakfast everyday. Definitely one of the best places to stay in if you want to visit Puglia.

The apartment had everything we needed. The hostess is very friendly and helpful. We got several tips where we could go. The breakfast is fine. Every day our bed was made. To reach the accommodation you need a car, because it is located in a quiet area.

I loved everything about this place, from the host and her adorable cat to the pool, food, and setting. The breakfast was delicious and included a number of homemade cakes and jams, fresh fruit, cereals, cheeses, and breads, as well as delicious coffee. The pool is set in a lovely yard surrounded by olive trees and is a godsend in the Puglian heat! The rooms were comfortable and ours included a balcony. The B & B is ideally situated near beaches, including one with a nature preserve, and the small city of Manduria. The host was very friendly and accommodating--a true gem! My only regret is that we didn't stay longer.

Maddalena was so kind and incredibly accommodating. Breakfast was all homemade (I witnessed the fresh focaccia bread coming straight out of the oven), everything was unbelievably tasty and what a spread, so many delicious choices. I would give Maddalena a 10+. We truly enjoyed our stay and would return to Antico Casale II Sambuco, if we return to Puglia. Thank you for welcoming us with open arms!
