Very good breakfast, very helpful staff. We were disappointed that having booked a room with a shower, then paid more money for our own lavatory as well that these were situated down the stairs, across another room and in a separate corridor. The lavatory in particular could easily be used ( and was) by others which is fine but we had paid extra for it.

The property is beautiful and although I could not stay to see it during the day, it was amazing to see the sun come up on the river from my bedroom. The hosts are incredibly kind and welcoming. The room was lovely and comfortable. The common room was awesome to spend some time in. Overall it was a wonderful stay!

Clean, easy to find and the host was very kind. Host was easy to contact and very accommodating. Lots of drinks/snacks available to purchase at anytime with tea/coffee/hot chocolate available for free. The breakfast was a very large portion and was delicious every day. Bedding and towels were provided which was nice as it saved on room in your suitcase. Shared bathroom/shower room were clean and tidy as were the other shared spaces. Bedroom was spacious (I had the twin budget room) although if you were a very tall person you might have struggled in this room as the ceiling was low. Bedroom had lots of plug sockets, a chair, lockable drawers and the door has its own key so you could lock up when out. The location was only a 15/20 min walk from the train station and 25min walk from some restaurants and the local zoo (Ouwehands), there was the option to get food delivered from some local places such as Domino’s. Most of the walk was alongside a very pretty river. As a first time solo female traveller I was pleased with how safe I felt.

We were lucky to be upgraded to a larger room and use of pool. The location by the Rhine is super.
