All respect for the general manager who does a great job here; a true sample of excellent hospitality!The scenery was beautiful and it was a relieve to walk in such a quiet and peaceful environment.

A lot of cute animals there from rabbits, birds and dogs, The bathrooms were clean and could rent scooters from them and was close to one of the beaches

Location is very far from the town, literally a thin mattress on the floor and a sheet! Little cockroaches were found in my girlfriends bed when she moved something, walls are very thin so you could hear everyone in the huts next to you and they asked me who we booked our canyoneering with i told them and they got a bit dismissive of me, didnt feel very welcomed - our friend dropped us off at the properly and came in to help us and they went on their walky talkies and then came up to us to ask if it was just us staying!

Absolutely awesome place! We do recommend coming here if you stay 2/3/4 days in Moalboal area! The room we got was tiny but beautiful and comfortable for the 2 of us. There is a net so you don't need to worry about mosquitoes during the night. It was also quite clean, the staff is super nice and helpful! They can also pick you up from Moalboal bus station for just 150php by tuktuk. No noise during the night, we also met nice people and nice vibes:) the place is absolutely stunning, there are fishes around, rabbits and birds. The toilet is shared and they are clean and good enough for what you need to do. You can also tap the water for only 1peso. Another thing that we want to add and it is actually the highlight of our stay in Cebu: do the canyoneering experience with Jeff, who is taking care of the guests from the Bamboo house! He's a super nice guy and together with Michael you will have a great canyoneering experience with them, departing around 7/8am to the canyoneering so you avoid the crowd (the canyoneering can be super super busy after 9/10am so we recommend going as earlier as possible). We had so much fun and Jeff is a great photographer!! Michael took care of us and we felt safe the whole time, and they motivated us to jump and to not feel the fear of it xD so yes, please do this favour to yourself:) The location is perfect, the White Beach is really close to it and the same for Panagsama Beach ( just 10m by scooter), where you can look for sardines+turtles by yourself or with a guide :)

The wifi is not always perfect, but for us was fine and is a good way to enjoy life without an internet connection:)

Perfect place to relax and disconnect, First hostel ive been with animals everywhere that is soo cool !! The owner and his wife are very gentle The stuff also. Perfect experience.

The staff have put a wonderful amount of work into the garden and the bamboo huts each have a unique charm. The facilities are clean and well maintained. Showers are also great.

I can’t in good faith recommend this stay to anyone. There were a few really bizarre things that happened and the hosts can be incredibly rude (as you can see in their responses to comments on this page - to preempt they’ll likely reply to this in a similar vein). They were rude to the point where the lovely staff were apologising for their behaviour which is very awkward!! 1. We had issues with the bike rental (we’ve noticed in previous comments here that other people have had similar issues). This may be an unfortunate coincidence, however I’d recommend renting a bike from somewhere in town instead. This way you’ll also support another local business, so it’s a win/win. 2. We booked an extra nights stay which the staff very kindly organised for us in the same room. Not long after booking the staff said the managers need us to change rooms because someone had booked our room. We were moved to a much smaller room for the same price. It seemed very spiteful at the time seeing as our original room was still vacant the entire time. Again the staff apologised and also later confirmed that no one had actually booked our room. 3. The stay is advertised as having wifi but this rarely works so keep that in mind. 4. On our final morning we awoke to some very passive aggressive messages from the host. Here are what the messages were addressing: - During our stay we asked the staff kindly if we could please put a small sachet of coconut milk in the fridge. They gladly said yes. One message said it was incredibly rude of us to put our things in their fridge without permission. - We also, again, asked staff for permission to use mugs, plates and cutlery, which they kindly let us use. We would wash them after use and always thank them upon return. One message said how rude it was that we used things from the kitchen! - We went to eat some food in what we assumed was a communal eating area (though it was solely for restaurant goers, our mistake!

Beuatiful garden with cute pets and little pond with fish. I loved the chill vibe. White Sand beach is few mintues away with scooter. You can even rent scooter from them.

We have been travelling on a budget and don't have high expectations. However this place has been terrible. Location isn't great. Far away from anything. Rooms are see through, no privacy and you can hear the next room whispering and the houses are shaking with every step. The mosquito net has big holes in it. We have left early and still paid full price. Wouldn't recommend.
