Little bit away from downtown. But still walkable

Vito and Maria Pia are outstanding hosts. On top of being super hardworking and attentive, they facilitated our trip to Alberobello, our need for a laundromat and just simplified everything for us. In addition, the breakfast they offer their patrons is well beyond the continental breakfast. They greet you personally to their Cafe del Corso every morning and it was where we ate the best in Monopoli. Their lunch menu offers refreshing veggie options. The villa is also super, with garden and terrace. Vito and Maria Pia deserve five stars in our opinion.

Walking from the train station with our luggage was a challenge. The villa is only a 15 minute walk from the station but due to the lack of streetnames, we would have been better to take a taxi with our heavy luggage.

It was clean and tidy.

We had to walk down into the town for breakfast at the owner's restaurant. Once there, it was good, but it was a long walk. There was no one at the property, which was sad. It is always nice to communicate with someone. We had to walk to the property from the bus and unfortunately arrived early and exhausted; we had difficulty contacting anyone to let us in. Our fault - but we hoped that there would be someone there.

Dejligt stille område i gåafstand til det historiske centrum. Behagelige senge.

Dårlig kommunikation. Vi fik ikke oplyst hvor vi skulle spise morgenmad den første morgen før det var for sent. Vi fik bare et visitkort med kontaktinfo uden forklaring. Vi havde forinden fået besked herinde med det oprindelige morgenmadssted. Og det gik vi efter forgæves.

Très calme. Très propre très joli. Bref,le top pour moi. Un peu a l'écart mais cela nous a permis de faire une belle ballade et de découvrir la ville.
