Lots of animals, lovely place, an amazing host!

The mattresses were very hard for us

An incredible addition to our holiday. We only regret that we did not stay longer, but we will definitely come back again. A super soulful place, lots of animals on the territory. A welcome bonus (fruits) and a wonderful varied breakfast in the morning. The animals came right to our house, you could communicate with them up close (my favorites are the pony John and the cat Sarah). In the evening it was very romantic to lie in the jacuzzi on the terrace and look at the stars. Thanks for Suzana, she told us a lot about the animals and was incredibly nice. Near the hotel there is an observatory (we took an excursion to see the planets and stars, 5 minutes by car) and a delightful castle on a hill where it is nice to go to meet the sunset.

Breakfasts delicious and homemade cakes. They even went out special to get us gluten free cake. The place is also a sanctuary which I had no idea before hand. They had llamas, emus, donkeys, meats and more. Quite amazing what they had built there.

Everything was perfect. There wasn't anything I did not like.

Everything was exactly as other guests describe there was nothing that disappointed us ,a really lovely part of Portugal and so close to the observatory where we booked a night viewing , two memorable experiences in one package .

Nothing

The property is located in the countryside not far from Monsaraz and although it’s a farm, it’s super clean and well ordered. Our rooms were large and airy and led to an Eastern-facing terrace. All the better to pet the donkeys! We had a delicious breakfast before leaving and Amelia, the owner, was kind enough to give us the grand tour and introduce us to the rest of the rescue family, Bernardo the Coati, Daniel the Emu, dogs Emma and Lucky and too many cats to count. Amelia and Vasco are wonderful hosts. Can’t wait to return!

There was nothing we didn’t like!

It's a very nice and quiet place. Very many animals, children will be especially interested here! Very friendly owners. Everything is clean, beautiful. Near the castle, lakes, observatories. Would love to come again.
