Very warm and welcoming.

Lovely property and the staff were very friendly. As soon as we walked in there was no question of the quality of the place. The room was very comfortable and in keeping with the period of the rest of the building

Tried to book a taxi to Buxton for an evening away which was pretty much impossible. Ended up driving and were told that taxis don't generally go out that far to pick people up which was a pity

Very friendly staff, good offer of beer and entertainment. Very clean and welcoming

Mattress was not up to the standard considering the cost of accomodation ikn my opinion

Great combination of food, drink, comfort and location. Easy reach of pretty villages and towns as well as hiking.

The host was so welcoming and friendly making us all feel at home. There was a good offer of evening meals available and a choice to have a cooked breakfast (for an extra fee) which was good meeting our different needs! Entertainment was on the second night of our stay which was an added bonus.

Great atmosphere. Friendly and helpful hosts. Micro brewery. The room was warm clean and modern. We really enjoyed our stay and we would return.

Excellent host, very kind, friendly and accommodating. Beautiful pub, good pub food and local beers, great breakfast, nice live music, and great location. The room was decent and cozy even though we had booked the small one. The bathroom looked new. Tea and biscuits provided. Jenni and her family support the local community with their business.

The bathroom looked like they had forgotten to hoover it and put towels. For us it wasn't a big deal as we understand it's a family-run inn and these things can happen to anyone. We asked about the towels and they genuinely apologised and brought them to our room.
