Holiday Nest Bed & Breakfast

Dear Nelson and Kamani Thank you for providing comfortable and safe accommodation during my short stay at Panadura. I appreciate your kind help and friendly approach. I enjoyed your delicious Sri Lankan breakfast. I look forward to meeting you again during my next trip to Sri Lanka.

Breakfast - May I suggest you include a mix of food items like in a simple buffet ( eg, milk rice with roti, or pancake or bread) for breakfast, including a jug of tea and milk. You may compare the food items included in the breakfast offered at Moon Deck Villa, Ranaviru Mawatha, Katunayaka. I hope you have replaced the hot water system in the bathroom.

Nelson, his wife and neighbours immediately greeted us at the gate. They were all so welcoming and wonderful it felt like joining their family in their home. We were offered multiple cups of tea, especially when it reached tea time (4pm), and being English who had been away from home for a long time, it was great! We booked our stay with them 15 minutes before we arrived and it was still morning, but this was not an issue. Nothing was ever an issue. They were so wonderful and accommodating to us. The beautiful home, and room, is clean, spacious and homely. Nelson made sure to notify us when the monkeys came so we could see them. He spent a lot of time with us, showing his knowledge of plants, fruits and animals. The breakfast was also delicious.

I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect stay. I felt like I was at home. Safe and extremely comfortable. Nelson and his wife are amazing hosts, went above and beyond for me while I was here. As a solo travelling woman he made sure I was safe and had everything I needed. I even stayed an additional night. Breakfast was so good, rooms are large and clean. Beds are comfortable (slept so well). Nelson had so many tips and recommendations on what to do and see in the area. I can’t fault anything. I will be back. Thank you so much!

The hosts were lovely, it felt like staying in their home, I felt very welcome. The bed was super comfy, nice big room with huge terrace.
