The Little Acres Cherai

We booked a last minute stay on New Year’s Eve and it was easily one of the best accomodation we had in a month in India! We were in the Iris cottage. Very very clean, colourful design features, a comfortable a nice supportive mattress, streaming services, excellent AC and a charming garden with koi fish! The owner allowed us to check in early and held our bags for us after check out while we went for a final swim. (We recommend Chilli Out Cafe for food when you’re on the beach) The location isn’t on the beach but it was an easy 20 minute walk when it cooled down or a cheap 50IRP tuk tuk with heaps available and meant it wasn’t as loud or crowded - even on NYE. Thank you for having us on our last night of a long holiday!

Cute little house with a very welcoming, helpful and caring hosts. They had served delicious authentic Kerala breakfast. Overall, stay was very comfortable.

Very cute property. A private cottage close to Cherai beach. Secluded and safe. We really liked the room. It matched the pictures. It was extremely clean with clear instructions on how to use everything. Any additional queries were addressed via whatsapp. Little Acres is like a quaint homestay with a hotel vibe. And very well organized. We also got homemade breakfast and coffee everyday morning. Lunch and dinner is available just 1 km away at Cherai. On our last day, Mr.Vijayan (Owner) was kind enough to let us extend our stay for a few hours.

The place and the owners are both spectacular! Would definitely recommend.
