The location was beautiful on the water with a large garden. The hostess Jikkemyn was great and very helpful. The room was very fun with a great view. There are several good restaurants not too far away. There is a train connection to Amsterdam close by, so you could easily visit the main tourist places and other places in the Netherlands. The breakfast was simple but high quality items. It would be great to take a day and bike around or use a canoe to follow the waterway.

Parking is somewhat difficult, don’t come with too large a car. It is a rural location so the roads leading to there are small. Although the room was very romantic, my husband could not climb the very, very steep stairs. Jikkemyn found a solution in a single bedroom on the ground floor but just for him. So not really advised or romantic for an older couple like us, unfortunately.

Gezellig, knus, super aardige host

L’endroit bien qu’un peu éloigné du centre d’Abcoude est très joli, le jardin est bordé par un rivière… charmant…

The B&B is a beautiful Dutch barn conversion. It’s very comfortable with a stunning view over the garden and riverside which you have access to. Jikkemijn is a great host, helping us out with various things and her breakfast set us perfectly each day.

Vriendelijk onthaald geweest, zeer gastvrij, ontbijt lekker en vers, niets op aan te merken. We waren er maar één nachtje maar alles was zoals voorgesteld op de site
