Mojigao - Eco Resort

We loved everything about our stay in Mojigao! All the staff were incredible since day one. Special mention to some of the staff who were working in the restaurant, really good people. The surrounding gardens were breathtaking, so beautiful. All the food from the restaurant is delicious and very high quality. They have the best bruschetta and ravioli I have had in my life (and I’m from Europe!). The WiFi works perfectly, I work here for three days with no issues. The AC works amazingly too. I totally recommend you to spend a few days here if you are coming to North Goa.

The location is fantastic if you prefer to stay close to Assagao - though it may not be ideal for those wanting immediate access to the beach. Set within a forested area, the property has a serene, eco-friendly atmosphere. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, surrounded by lush greenery that adds to the sense of calm. Being part of Artjuna, it also offers a lovely breakfast and brunch experience - fresh, wholesome, and perfectly in tune with the relaxed Goan vibe.

The only downside was the booking experience. Although my reservation on Booking.com clearly stated “No prepayment - pay at the property”, the Mojigao team repeatedly reached out via WhatsApp requesting payment in advance. Guests who book through such platforms usually prefer minimal interaction with the property before arrival. If prepayment is required, this should be clearly stated at the time of booking to avoid confusion — the messaging and policy currently don’t align. Additionally, the mattresses could use an upgrade, as they feel quite basic compared to the rest of the property’s quality and ambience.

Mojigao is surrounded by nature - the property is very peaceful and beautiful. You can hear the jungle sounds and the cottages are lovely. The staff were all amazing, super friendly and helpful. As I was travelling alone, I spent lots of time chatting to them. Yoga classes with Ian in the morning were great. All of the food was delicious.

Would recommend having a car/bike if staying here so it’s easy to explore Goa but Mojigao were able to provide details for a good taxi.

This place is amazing. The location is peaceful. The food is great. The staff are friendly. The rooms are stunning. Highly recommend. Also get in touch with the reception staff and ask for Hanuman, he was our local driver who went above and beyond in every way to show us all that Goa had to offer, what an incredible asset he is to this resort.

Nothing. Do yourself a favour and book this place. Ask for Hanuman and you will be set!

Von Anfang an lief alles reibungslos. Die Architektur der gesamten Anlage ist atemberaubend und fügt sich harmonisch in die wunderschöne Natur ein. Besonders begeistert hat mich die hohe Qualität des Essens sowie das gut organisierte, kompetente und stets hilfsbereite Personal. Ein großes Lob auch an den Fahrer Hanuman des Hotels – verlässlich, freundlich und jederzeit unterstützend, sodass auch hier alles unkompliziert verlief und er sogar nach meinen checkout mich an paar Standorte gefahren hat und sich weiterhin um mich gekümmert hat. Mojigao ist definitiv ein Ort, an den ich bei meinem nächsten Aufenthalt in Goa sehr gerne zurückkehren werde.

It's just magical. From walking in through the door. The staff are the very best. So attentive and caring. The attention to detail. The rooms chalets are a total delight with the noises of the jungle. The cleaners do a tremendous tremendous job. The coffee, I've never seen how much efforts gone into making sure everything is in place. The restaurant cannot be faulted. The entertainment is fabulous. The yoga instructor Ian, the very best instructor for, The massages, my gosh, As you may see, I have loved the whole experience. I was on my own, but I never felt on my own. I was as much as I wanted. The whole eco area is breathtaking.

That I had to leave. That I went somewhere else before I came.

Struttura immersa nel verde, molto suggestiva e perfetta per chi vuole vivere momenti di puro relax. Nel tardo pomeriggio veniva acceso incenso e palo santo rendendo l’atmosfera magica. Ottima cucina con ampia scelta (avremmo però preferito un menù più tradizionale) e buon room service. Super consigliato il massaggio al Ghee con Neha alla Natura Spa e le sessioni di Yoga con Ian.

I had a great night in the cottage - utterly comfy with lush green trees all around. Didn't want to leave the next day!
