Nant Gloyw Oswestry

We had a lovely welcome when we arrived at Nant Gloyw. We had a big room and an excellent en suite. Delicious cakes and biscuits were provided daily to go with the teas and coffees. A nice touch was the fresh milk and water too. The breakfasts were delicious and the homemade bread was amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed our chats with Michael and this added to make our stay a memorable one.

This was our second visit and we had such a warm welcome from our hosts Michael and Gayle. Instantly relaxed and very comfortable Spotlessly clean as always And beautiful homemade bread and fresh eggs from their garden for breakfast breakfast!

Michael was a good host. Pleasant and knowledgeable about areas tourist attractions.

The fabric conditioner used on towels and sheets had too strong a perfume. I get hayfever and my sense of smell is heightened. Furthermore, the premises is a good solid 15 minute walk from town. And it is up hill from town.

Great Breakfast, even for a meat eater.

No bacon and sausage for breakfast but I knew that when I booked.

Comfortable Friendly Amazing attention to detail, food homemade.

The only feedback would be that the pillows weren’t good- too flat.

Location and easy access for parking. Friendly owner and knowledgeable about the area and food recommendations locally and on offer at address. And Michael certainly goes the extra mile to help.

I was visiting family in the area and have stayed at Nant Gloyw before. Very welcoming hosts. Although vegetarian, I had a lovely breakfast. The bircher is well recommended to try. Lovely cake in the room along with a variety of hot drinks.

Noithing could have been better, it meet all my needs.

I initially had to cancel my booking last minute due to transport. I had asked for a refund but had missed their message offering me a luft to and from the sattoon so i wouldnt have to cancel my booking. I did end up traveling to oswestry the following day, I contacted the hosts to see if they would let me stay the following day. They were so accommodating. Michael was very attentive when I arrived, the house was spacious, everything i needed and more in the spacious room. They even gave me a bigger room, at no extra cost as the other one had been booked. Just kind and thoughtful person. What a host should be. !

The only problem was that i could hear the person in the room next to mine chatting until 1am, i had to kindly ask him to lower his voice, which he eventually did after banging on the wall again!

Clean, warm, huge room, close to town, lovely breakfast, great staff
