Clean and comfy room, good location

We had the most wonderful time at Snehatheeram Homestay. The room was very clean with AC and all the essentials, the breakfast was delicious, the location is amazing, close to the backwaters and town and a short journey to the beach. The road the house is located on is super quiet and we had the best sleep of our trip so far. Both Bintu and George went above and beyond to make this the most comfortable stay, Bintu also had some amazing food recommendations. We hope to come again soon. Would highly recommend this homestay for the most comfortable and warming stay.

Binu and George and their family are the perfect hosts. They were SO KIND and even helped me receive a package at their house that I needed whilst travelling. They also arranged a taxi for us to the airport, and a boat to take us for the morning around the backwaters. The room was very clean and comfortable with great AC. The location was perfect for us - within 10 minutes walk there was the bus station, restaurants, the boat jetty, and temples. We explored the beach one evening and realised that’s where most of the foreign travellers are… made us even more glad about our choice! Wifi worked well for streaming movies, but we didn’t try working remotely. Communication in English was fine too I would 100% stay here again. Great value and overall experience.

At one point the pressure in our shower dropped. This was fixed within about 2 minutes so if anything was a positive! Shower water was not super cold, but sometimes took a long time to get warm. Not a problem in this weather

Our stay at the homestay was great. Hosts are very nice and very welcoming. Location is very good, and hosts even provided us with contacts for TukTuk and Shikara boat, which were both good options. Breakfast was really good and we had great time staying with them in their home.

Superb service. Quiet location. Lovely room and very clean. Breakfast was excellent and hosts made sure we enjoyed our stay. Also arranged a shikara boat trip for us.

Everything from start to finish - the communication even before I arrived was amazing - they were concerned that I arrive safely at all times and stepped in when there was a rather ugly dispute re the cost of my tuk tuk from the train station. It had all the small things that for a traveller can make the stay - bedside tables - great lighting - soap and shampoo and even spare toothbrush ! Loads of space - great a/c - sheet and blanket - mirrors and so quiet but a five min walk to river and boats, shops and bus station. Beautiful breakfast each morning - I asked for eggs and they accommodated wonderfully. Helped with ongoing transport.

Great location if you're arriving by ferry. Nice sized room, good furniture. Good shower, good Internet, great breakfast. Binu and her husband were very friendly and helpful.

The host were really lovely, they made sure we were comfortable. Rooms were spacious & super clean with all amenities one may need. We requested for rooms to be close together, which they fulfilled. They served us tasty & fulfilling south Indian breakfast with tea coffee juice and fruits. We really enjoyed it. I'm gonna recommend this place to anyone who would be looking for great place in Alleppey.

I really liked the guest centric attitude. Very nice people, willing to do everything possible to make your stay comfortable. All members of the staff make you feel at home.
