Snehatheeram Homestay

Great location, close to everything but quiet as set back from road. The hosts were so lovely and friendly and organised our tours on the backwaters, breakfast was excellent and coffee and tea available all day. The homestay was extremely clean and the bed had lovely cotton sheets and was comfortable, good hot shower and great aircon which worked well. The family pet dogs were friendly and we enjoyed petting them. We would have no hesitation staying here again and would definitely recommend to anyone.

We had a wonderful stay at Snehatheeram Homestay. The hospitality from Binu and George was outstanding, they made us feel truly welcome from the very first moment. Everything was spotlessly clean and very well maintained. The location is ideal: peaceful and quiet, yet still close to the main road and convenient for getting around. Breakfast each morning was fantastic and freshly prepared, with especially delicious dosas. We would happily stay here again!

Questa è senza dubbio la miglior homestay di tutto il Kerala, anzi… di tutta l’India! La pulizia è impeccabile, le stanze sono spaziose e dotate di ogni comfort. La colazione inclusa non lasciatevela scappare perché vi delizieranno con piatti squisiti già di prima mattina. I proprietari di casa sono persone estremamente ospitali e gentili, sanno come farti sentire a proprio agio e sono sempre disponibili a rispondere ad ogni domanda. Ci hanno aiutato anche ad organizzare l’uscita in kayak e canoa per visitare i villaggi delle backwaters. Purple e Toby, i loro amici a quattro zampe, saranno sempre pronti ad accogliervi con la coda scodinzolante! Inutile dire che ci siamo emozionati quando è stato il momento di ripartire. Grazie di tutto, torneremo a trovarvi 🥰

We can totally recommend this homestay. The location is good, the rooms are clean and spacious. Also the host family is very kind and helpful. They organised a boatride for us and also the tuktuk drivers. It was the perfect mix between having conversations and privacy. Thanks!
