B&B Het Postenhofje

You can't go wrong with this one - if you want to experience everything you imagine Holland to be, this is it. It's a culturally rich beautiful charming cottage in a very rustic hamlet. Everything is welcoming from the moment you get there: the hosts are very friendly, pay great attention to detail. Everything is spotlessly clean, the breakfast provided, is outstanding. And they have a great deal of knowledge of the area. And the area is quite surprising. There seems to be a castle within every 15 kilometers in any direction and there are some very charming little towns. One that totally impressed us was a town called "Buren". It is where the American president Van Buren's family originally came from, so it is very historic and only 20 minutes drive away. 20 minutes in the other direction, crossing the river with the ferry is another charming little town. So it's in one of the nicest locations of Holland, definitely worth the stay.

Excellent breakfast. Very comfortable bed. Quiet location in a lovely village. The hosts were very friendly, extremely helpful and nothing was too much effort. Definitely would use it again.
