We had stayed in the top floor room which had direct access to the terrace. It is the best room from where you can see the fort and the city. Enjoy your early morning tea with the chirping of the birds and see the sun rise. Breakfast was excellent and there cook has also got magic in his hands. It was Diwali time and sitting on the terrace and watching the crackers burst was an excellent experience.

The stairs. As it is an old palace so does not have a lift.

Loved everything about staying here but hadn't realised the room I booked didn't have an attached bathroom, it was across the hall. Still just for my exclusive use, but accessed via public walkway. Had I known, I would have booked one of the other rooms. Breakfast up on the roof terrace was nice. They set up an umbrella for me for some shade. Location is fabulous - you are right in the heart of town but set back from the busy road so it feels like a haven when you return. Very interesting photos and decoration about the place.
