Anne!! what a lovely lady.She makes you feel like your at home .This is how bed and breakfasts should be done. I wish I had found this B+B years ago. Very comfy bed and room spacious. The bus to either North or South is a stones throw away. Leave your car and capture the lovely scenery as the bus goes through the Lakes. Hop on and off as you like.I felt very refreshed after my 2 night stay Thank you Anne your a gem.

The location was perfect for visiting lake district. Breakfast was good . Our host was very helpful and great to chat to.

Ann was an excellent hostess. Very polite and accommodating. She had lots of tips for places to visit in the area. It was fun chatting with her. The room and bathroom were nice and clean, the English breakfast was varied and plentiful. The room was very quiet!

Anne was the perfect host nothing was to much trouble. We would highly recommend and hope to stay again.

Location was good and it was clean.

The beds and bedding were very uncomfortable making for long and uncomfortable nights. But WORST was the proprietor! She was beyond rude, argumentative, and tried to control every conversation. She actually told us , “I find Americans to be the rudest of all people.” KNOWING I am American. She appears to be a bitter, angry elderly woman. She is trying to sell the business as she is tired of running it and YOU CAN TELL!

Best breakfast, also the most humble host we can ever expect. One of the best experience
