Nothing everything whas ok

This is a proper B & B in that you are staying with someone, in their actual home. Although less fancy than other places we stayed in, we really liked Chilli Moon for its homeliness and it had everything we needed. Our upstairs room was spacious with masses of storage. The bathroom was quirky but well appointed and there was a terrific view of the sea and the river from the comfy sofa. Breakfast in the garden was lovely. It was great to spend some time talking to kind and friendly Rochelle and Eric and to learn more about South Africa. We only had one night in Stillbai and wished we had had more - it is a charming place with fantastic bird life. We would have liked to kayak/swim down the river into the sea. We had a fine supper down at the harbour.

Nothing at Chilli Moon. We were annoyed that the gin distillery up the road has changed its tour times. Tastings cannot start now before 11 am so we could not do this. Apparently, their gin is amazing so that was a disappointment. There is a great cafe next to it selling excellent olive oil and great baked cheese cake. The staircase up to the bedrooms in Chili Moon is a bit steep if you have bad hips.

The hostess and staff were so helpful and friendly. She even made us lasagne on request without a charge, she made us a lovely take away breakfast because we had to leave early
