Alles war perfekt. Wir hatten ein herzliches Willkommen durch unseren Gastgeber Domenico, der uns mit super Tipps versorgt hat. Wir hatten von Anfang an ein herzliches, vertrautes Verhältnis. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und schön eingerichtet, der Ausblick ist atemberaubend. Der Fußweg ins Zentrum über die Treppen dauert ca. 15 Minuten. Es gibt aber auch einen Bus, der bei Villa Greta, 20m von Villa Sara hält. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit. Vielen Dank!!

Where do I start? Villa Sara is an amazing B&B with breathtaking views over Taormina and Mount Etna. The location is perfect, offering a peaceful retreat while still being close to everything. Domenico is a truly wonderful host who went above and beyond during our stay. When we had an unexpected emergency, he was incredibly helpful, and he also provided us with fantastic recommendations for things to see and do in the area. The breakfast was exceptional, with a beautiful view to enjoy while eating. From Villa Sara, we were able to walk up to Castelmola and also walk down into Taormina, which made exploring very easy. Domenico also organised a beach day for us. If you're visiting Taormina, I highly recommend staying at Villa Sara. Domenico's hospitality, the stunning views, and the overall experience made our stay unforgettable. Oh, and I almost forgot. There is onsite parking for a fee which I highly recommend you book.

Domenico was wonderful and made us feel at home. Our room had lots of space and the views were spectacular. We would highly recommend staying here.

It was in a super position with an amazing view of Mount Etna. Our room was lovely, furnished with antiques and we had a lovely balcony to sit out on.

Very welcoming host, gave us sooo many suggestions regarding our trip. Unbelievable views from the balcony, super delicious breakfast and it was additional plus that you can order parking in property garage. Highly recommended!

The host was the best I have had in all my years of travelling. He could not do enough to help you. He sent timetables or anything else you need even if you hadn’t asked for it. The room was spacious and quiet. Breakfast was wonderful. He went out of his way to cater for us vegans. Amazing!

Domenico, der Gastgeber ist ein sehr freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Mensch. Er hat uns viele Tipps gegeben. Das Frühstück war für uns mehr als ausreichend. Das Zimmer war sehr groß und hatte einen großen Balkon.

Man muss schon gut zu Fuß sein, um von der Stadt wieder nach oben zu gelangen. Es geht ziemlich bergauf.

Villa Sara is not your typical B&B. It’s a beautifully well maintained family villa with character and a family history. Our room was bright and spacious, opening onto a large terrace with spectacular views of Mount Etna, the town of Taormina, and the sea below. Domenico was a gracious and knowledgeable host in every sense. He showed us the quickest routes to the Madonna della Rocca church above and the town below via the steps. Despite having a parking garage available at a reasonable rate, he pointed us toward free street parking instead. And then went the extra mile by parking our car himself in a particularly tight spot. He also helped carry our bags both at check-in and check-out. Breakfast was wholesome and generous , eggs, fresh fruit, cold meats, and cheese. A perfect start to each morning! We left feeling genuinely well looked after, and the combination of Domenico’s hospitality, the villa’s charm, and those unbeatable views of Mount Etna and the ocean means we would hopefully return again.
