Great breakfasts.

Great views from room and balcony. Staff / hosts very friendly and attentive. The homemade breakfast is not to be missed. Absolutely great place to stay just a minute or two to Valencia and 10 minutes down to Dumaguete.

Small bed in a small room, but there is other bigger room.

Our hosts Anna and Cathlene were exceptional, nothing too much trouble. Breakfast was a combination of English/ Philippine style and was very good indeed. Location very good. Spotlessly clean . So we can recommend this guest house fully.

Only small downside is some traffic noise,but since it is on main road, then this is to be expected.

The Belfort House has very accommodating staff and a wonderful breakfast.

The ladies in charge will know how to welcome you and make your stay as comfortable as possible. Nice room with little details everywhere, private bathroom outside just next door. The overall is very clean and the breakfast is a killing to fuel your day. Highly recommend. Thank you Ana.

Try to avoid using Aircon at night, a little noisy, Valencia is a cooler area too therefore no problem there.

Our stay at Belfort house was exceptional. The house is beautiful and big, accommodating 3 guests in separate bedrooms. It is sparkling clean. They have a big garden and two beautiful, playful dogs. We totally loved the dogs. The location is very good, walking distance of Valencia main square, and 15 minutes drive to Dumaguete center. Anne, the host, and her cousin, are very kind. They informed us about touristic stuff and were always checking if we needed something. The price is fair.

If I must look for a negative, just that the bathroom is outside the room (not a deal breaker)
