Excellent location with friendly, helpful staff. I would really recommend this hotel. We stayed in a room facing the river with a terrace. Staff helped us with airport and train transfers, boat trips and recommendations for an agent to go to for train tickets. Clean with excellent hot shower

If u want to enjoy Ghat location ,this is best property..

The location was great. Staff were helpful and friendly. The bed was comfortable, and the room and common areas were clean. Using their airport pick up and transfer made it very easy for us.

The property is next to the ghat and you can go anywhere by walk.

The staff are incredibly welcoming. From the moment you walk in you are told to treat the place as your home. We stayed in winter and the whole of North India is slightly damp at this time of year so I think everywhere has a constant battle with older buildings but this was the first hotel I stayed in during my trip where the staff where actively out washing floors and sweeping communal areas every day. They seemed to take immense pride in it being neat and tidy and it was appreciated. The location, slightly towards the quieter end of the ghats, is perfect. If you can, request the river view room. It is beside the terrace where breakfast is taken and the view is superb. You could sit and people watch for hours between the terrace and the hotel steps which lead right out on to the ghat. I really don't understand the comments about it being a bit of a walk from the main road, it is probably 5 mins max. Also if you arrange ahead the hotel will collect you from airport or train station and then one of the staff will help you with your bags from the main road. Lastly, be sure to take one of their boat trips. We did the morning trip and the guide was very informative. I would definitely stay here again if I am ever back in Varanasi.
