"Overpriced for the quality of the room"

The staff were fantastic and helpful with what they could. The location was ideal for us.

The mosquito net has never been washed, same for the bed cushion. The mattress and bed was terrible. No shelves or hooks in the bathroom. The room is incredibly hot even with the 2 fans provided. The windows open but have no screen to prevent mosquitos. All of the windows could do with a clean. The staff are great but need the owner around and more training and seem to be stretched between this hotel and somewhere else, they did their best but at that price it's not good value. Clearing breakfast dishes away after breakfast. Cups and plates need properly washing before the next use. The bathroom light is pointless with a 5 watt bulb.

"Perfect stay!"

Staff were amazing always available if you need anything and all really friendly. Breakfast was great, stayed for multiple days and had lots of options all delicious with great coffee. Room was perfect, really big with lots of storage, insect net and air con, space to sit outside and great shower with constant hot water (one of best showers we’ve had traveling round Asia). Hotel is beautiful and really aesthetically pleasing. Location is great, walk to beach is 50m and can get to everything easily, would definitely recommend if staying in Weligama!

"Amazing Property with an amazing view and super breakfast!"

This accommodation was an absolute dream. Everything was perfect and the balcony was the cherry on top. You always had such a great view of the sea from there at breakfast in the morning. The breakfast was sensationally delicious and the location was so good. You were right on the beach in just a few seconds. Our hosts were just super nice and super caring.

The room was cozt and clean overlooking the ocean. Spacious balcony. Breakfast was great but the best part of staying at Moody Moon is the staff. Thank you so much for hospitality! You guys are awesome!
