The location, the view, and the privacy were spectacular. The room and facilities were high-quality, new and beautiful. Our bathroom was equipped with a large tub next to a picture window with a great view, plants, double sinks, instant-on great shower. The breakfast was presented so that we could set our own schedule, and snacks of fruit, chocolate, cold drinks & Nescafe coffee were available all the time for us out in the hall. Dinner at Bannockburn Hotel was a treat. Jules & Chris took great care of us!

Jules and Chris are wonderful hosts: discreet but available when needed or for advice on restaurants etc. This is our second visit to Bannockburn House and we’re considering a third. Breakfast provisions were top-shelf and superb including freshly baked croissants and organic fruit grown on their property. The view is stunning and restful from both the room and deck and the area very quiet. Bathroom very nicely appointed with double basins and living/sleeping area is spacious and had a lounge and swivel TV. It is walking distance to the excellent Bannockburn Hotel and Black Rabbit cafe (which we did not try).

The lounge area could do with a reading light. If you wish to travel with friends or family ensure you let them know that as they are limiting occupancy post-Covid except to guests known to one another.

Jules & Chris are lovely hosts. The accommodation was superb and in such a picturesque spot. Breakfast was excellent with lots of extras supplied. Thank you so much for a lovely stay. We will recommend and hopefully come back one day.

Beautiful location with wineries and restaurants just down the road. Sitting outside on the deck taking in the tranquil setting nothing to be heard but the stream in the valley below

really loved everything about this place , the loctione ,view, staff,breakfast ,affortable price , loved it so much , oh yeah and the time we walk in we didint know how to open the door manh its so funny ,but we are so happy the staff or boss so lovely , thank you so much

Great location not far of beaten track but felt very private & tranquil. Set up for mind healing & relaxation with great continental breakfast thrown in.

Hosts were very friendly, excellent room and view, very peaceful and relaxing. Enjoyed being able to walk to interesting areas like the sluicing sand the Bannockburn inlet.
