Nothing, if someone else was using a shower at the same time as you the pressure would reduce quite a bit but nothing the accommodation can control!!

Vyšší lidi by zde meli problém. Jsou zde velmi nízké stropy, alespoň v našem podkrovnim pokoji. To ,ale neubralo na spokojenosti.Příjemně zařízený pokoj,vše čisté, voňavé. Snídaně výběr z několika možností, velké porce. Doporučuji se zde ubytovat.

Ideal location. Across from Co-op and unique little antique market. Warm and Cosy. Very comfy beds. Nice breakfast. Immaculate and very clean. Well done to housekeeping.

Quite narrow corridors, bigger people (like myself) may find this a struggle.

The location is perfect. Knowing we'd be driving from Edinburgh we wanted to book somewhere in the Broadford area so that it wasn't too much extra driving once we arrived in Skye. And Skye itself is absolutely breathtaking!

My booking was for 2 adults and 3 children, but when my confirmation came through it stated I'd booked for 4 guests. I called the B&B to check as I didn't want to run into any issues. The person I spoke to advised it wouldn't be a problem, but at breakfast the first morning the staff member on duty was horrified to see there were 5 of us. I explained that I'd called ahead but after speaking to her manager and checking if our third child would be eating (?!) we were told we'd need to pay an additional £10 for his breakfast each day. He's four, and ate a half portion of porridge on day one and two slices of toast on day two. When checking out I challenged the additional fee, also stating how horribly the member of staff had handled the issue the day before and how uncomfortable we were made to feel as she repeatedly stated how big an issue this was. They offered to bring the charge down to £10, I pushed back again and ultimately paid £5. Not a huge sum of money, but the fact the B&B were so insistent that anything extra be paid despite the fact that I'd made every reasonable effort to avoid any trouble left a very sour taste. We will absolutely return to Skye, but under no circumstances would we return to Broadford House.

Great location with the pub just down the road (the nearer ones were closed for the season), the fish and chip shops (with the ludicrously high counter!) also just down the road and a great Co-Op across the road - literally. Room was cute and serviceable. Comfortable and reasonably appointed. Staff were great and attentive and I even got to try out some of the Gaelic I had been learning with one staff member! Breakfast was filling and well timed. The shared bathroom worked fine, particularly as there was a second seperate toilet. Despite being on the main road, the walls were thick and no noise - or light penetrated the room - appreciated.

On arrival, when heading up the stairs, there was a bit of rubbish at the base of the stairs - it was still there when we left 2 days later! It did drag your attention to the floor, which pointed out that the stairwell timber looked tired and needed a touch up paint and the carpet was in desperate need of a clean. Although the teapot/cup combo was nice, the addition of glasses in the room would have been appreciated. Somewhere in addition to the 2 hooks on the back of the door to hang things would have been good also.
