Dunscar Farm Bed & Breakfast

The breakfast was gorgeous, and despite the fact we were the only ones staying, 2nd week of January, the also put out fresh fruit salad everyday too. Extremely friendly and chatty staff, and lovely a quiet location only a short walk from the village.

It didn't snow enough to stop us leaving.

Location was nice and the bed was super comfy and the breakfast was very tasty

The floorboards was very very uneven and squeaky to the point I didn’t want to walk on them as was very noisy and felt bad for everyone else in rooms near us ! But was almost everywhere in the room … also was offered an upgrade on the room with a view but didn’t realise bathroom was seperate as I originally booked an ensuite… so in the night had to leave the room for the toilet which I wasn’t expecting but didn’t spoil the stay …

Gary was very friendly and the breakfast was excellent.

The bed was a bit uncomfortable but for a few days it wasn't an issue.

Fantastic rustic and quaint. An authentic english experience. The hosts especially were some of the nicest people in england. I usually don't go out of my way to write reviews but it was well worth it.

Its a bit of a hike to the town but that's probably why people come to the peak district anyway.

Breakfast was great! Plant based options available and great coffee. Very nice private cosy room.

The only problem was there was a snail on the curtains and I have a bit of a phobia from them. Would have been an ideal stay apart from that.

Beautiful farm building right in the middle of country side with easy access to various hikes. Breakfast was delicious, especially the scrambled eggs cooked by Gary. Janet was lovely and very accommodating to allow us late arrival. Great stay overall.

It was too warm in the room on our arrival. Some people might like it, but we had to switch the radiator off.
